Electrolysis

The Only Permanent Hair Removal

How does electrolysis work?

Electrolysis is a safe and effective way to permanently remove hair. Hair growth is controlled by genetics, hormones, medications and medical operations. A small flexible probe is inserted into each individual follicle and galvanic current destroys the growth center of the hair. Electrolysis is a slow precise and delicate process. It is safe and effective with the right technician.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Do not remove the hair prior to your appointment. The hair must be grown outside of the skin at least 2 millimeters to be treated with electrolysis. Come to the appointment well hydrated, this will make the treatment more effective. Arrive 10 minutes before your appointment if you would like to pre-numb. Numbing is recommended for the lip and eyebrow area. It is likely that your skin will look slightly red and bumpy for up to 24 hours after the treatment. Please take a Benadryl before the procedure if you have reactive skin. I encourage you to apply Neosporin to the area for 3 nights after the procedure.
