At Highlight Aesthetics we focus on safety as well as beautiful results. A typical client will heal easily and without any complications. We review your medical history before we begin the procedure to be sure you are a good candidate. Keep in mind the tools tools are like paintbrushes and your skin is the canvas. We want your skin to be in the best condition possible before we implant pigment. This is why it is important to exfoliate and moisturize your skin at home leading up to your procedure. We will always be careful to follow hygiene guidelines and we have a bloodborne pathogens certification. We will not perform permanent makeup services on any clients with the following contraindications:
- Under the age of 18
- With a history of MRSA
- Pregnant or nursing
- Used Accutane within the last year
- Currently undergoing cancer treatments or within the last year
- Hepatitis
- Autoimmune disease
-Taking prescription blood thinners or recent use of alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oils or turmeric
-Cosmetic Injections within a week before the treatment
- Current use of retin-a
-Undergone a chemical peel in the last 2 weeks
-Heavy smokers
-Keloid scars on the face
