Highlight Aesthetics and Permanent Makeup is owned by Ashley Smith. Ashley is a licensed esthetician and laser hair technician. Ashley has additional certifications in permanent makeup, cosmetic injectables, and electrolysis. Ashley's skincare story started in 2005 when she started working at a Clinique counter in a Macys department store. Later she became an account coordinator for Origins in Central and South Texas. In 2013 Ashley turned her attention toward medical aesthetics and joined the team at a medical spa managed by an esteemed
oculoplastic surgeon in Austin Texas. She had the opportunity to learn about facial anatomy with a focus on eyelid and eyebrow reconstruction. Before starting her own business Ashley worked at Ann Webb Skin Clinic in Austin Texas as their top medical esthetician for 5 years. Ashley enjoys anything that instantly makes people feel more confident. She thinks of cosmetic injectables and permanent makeup as her art.
